blog holiday.....opppps...

helllllloooo...happy Easter to you..sorry had a bit of a blog holiday but now i am back.....so what have i been up to..

crocheting....work....been away....fun with my girls...and lots more...

to crocheting....been crocheting some nice things for birthday prezzies for friends..it started last year that i was going to make everyone birthday and xmas prezzies...its hard but so far i have done it...so to my pen friend we have been pen friends from the age of 10 we were best mates at school then she moved away...so we started writing and have been doing it from then...think it we be hmmmmm 26 years....now i feel old but good going i may add!!!! hehe

so i made her a nice little owl keyring and a lovely vintage purse..i hope she liked them...

i then made a nice little mushroom out of one of my books made that one for hazel....she has so many crochet teddy's and things i don't think she can fit in her bed at night..lol

i then went on amazon....bad move me thinks... and got a fab book which has some lovely things it ...i would say to get it...



i have started to do the toggle jacket out of it for my friends baby.....doing it in cream as it will go with anything then.....

the book is...'cute and easy crocheted baby clothes' by Nicki Trench.

so its my friends little girls birthday soon and i made her 2 other girls a hot water bottle each for their birthday...so i would all like them to have one each so i hopped to it ...and made one and i just love it...i do at this time have to add that they live in Australia..i know funny that i sending a hottie there...lol...but what little girls don't like one....

i liked this ribbon and did something around it....and i love the end hottie.....!! so i will show you the ones that i did for there sisters...for their b-days..

i also made a hottie for my my pen friend at xmas....

hmmmm so my girls have been very arty over Easter i have to say that they are both  gifted with being creative...so Darren gave them some old 'Beano and dandy's'

and they made some fab things....

i have put them up....Summer is working on something and when it is done i will put it on my blog....

so i think that is all my news all up to date..

i have also done a cute little butterfly out of the book i got the other week

hazel really wants it....so i think she can have it!!!

i have also been doing a lovely baby's cot blanket for a friend that has asked me to make it for her friend i hope she likes it...i love it ...i got the patten from ravelry it was easy to do....and came out better than i thought it would...

i have also sawn some more to my runner that iam making for my bed...this is one off them things that will be a long time to end ...but will get there...haha!!!

my next thing that i would like to do is for my friends baby think iam going to make it in cream.....and to fit 12 months and iam looking forward to doing it....

Think i am going to put some funky buttons on it going to keep my eye out for some....if you see any let me know

iam back.......yerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

hellooooooooooo...sorry not bloged for a bit lap top been down...all fixed now...

so what have i been up too... ok to start with i have done some booties and a giraffe for a order for a friend and she loved the giraffe...she now wants a baby blanket ...so i have to get on to that started it to night...



so i made my friends little tubs for the herbs...for her new house..and seeing her over the weekend and just have to get the herbs to put in them i think they are fab!!! i think i may have to treat myself to some....but i did make myself a pen tin....which i loveeeeeeee yum yum!!

i crochet little beads in to the top of the pen tin...how cute!!!

so then i found a pot that Summer had and didn't use any more so i stole that oppps and then crocheted it for my cooking things have a look... 

you like........!!!!??

and then to stop my girls from keep asking what was for tea i got this fab chalk bored...

and that has stopped them hehe!!!

ok been to knit and natter tonight  and now in a race with my friend Esther...'who can make the bag first'...so the race is on.....

have to say we are making the same bag and we didnt know....hehe!!

so have to now go and get to it!!!!!

hellllllloooooooo!!

do you ever get too many children's yogurts left getting close to their out of date....

yep that's me my girls love them one week and eat lots of them...then the next week...hmmmm

they eat none...arrrrrrrrrr!!!

so this is what i do cus i hate to put them in the bin

and i find that them eat them this way....

1:yogurts

2:spoons

3:100's and 1000'

ok now you know were iam going with this i hope..

pop the spoons into the yogurts and then put some 100's and 1000's on top....

just like that then i pop them in the freezer...about a day is ok...then all you have to do is give then to your children....to get them out the pot i just run it under a little hot water and pull it out...you can also use the spoon again....and it save you money and is a good little pudding.

enjoy....get your children doing them!!!

So Summer made me a lovely thing on her ipad...and it made me smile.....

think i may print it out and put it up....hehe...

so i made a nice little bit of up-cycling..had a tin of tuna for dinner... and ping in my little head came....

my best mate has just moved into a new house..

she likes cooking so fingers crossed iam seeing her next week so all i have to do is eat a lot of tuna....

well hello all of you...hope you are all ok?

we are back from our fun week on the canal boat..

and after being iced in for 3 days..

on the Wednesday we could move the boat out whoop whoop....

this is soooooo cute..!! i just love this pic..

Summer and Hazel...

this was the middle of birmingham on the birmingham and worcester canal...we went through one of the longest tunnels it took about one hour to get through it....

but i have to say that going on a boat is one of the nicest ways to see a city..

so i took a lot of wool to do some hooking on the boat but didn't do a lot.....so when i got home i got to it and started to finish off on my friends tea cosy for her....after seeing my mums that i made for her ...she wanted one to but she wanted mixed flowers and not just poppys....

so its getting there....just got a little to do on it...



iam also working on a bag and i will let you see that soon when it is done.....well off i go to bed and happy hooking...see you soon...xsx

well i hope you are having a nice valentine's day...

i am on a narrow boat just outside Birmingham...

going nowhere due to ice down the canal...

so looking on the funny side..i am having a weeks holiday in Birmingham...

its been my dream from about the age of 7yrs old to live on a canal boat...and one i will do it...sell my house and be off....

we feed the ducks each day and zand loves them.....

and hazel just chillin in the boat....

ok so i took lots of wool to do some hooking

but i haven't done a lot.....been having some time with my girls......i did how ever do my other half something...
